Terri's Nature Journaling Journey

I discovered and fell in love with nature journaling back in 2020 as a way to combine all of my passions into one simple and fulfilling activity. Journaling in my own backyard became my solace during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, and I soon wanted to share the joy of curiosity, discovery, and connection it brought me with others. In 2024 I completed the Wild Wonder Foundation's Nature Journaling Educator training program and also became a certified OSU Extension Service Master Gardener Volunteer in order to better share my knowledge and passions for art, writing, and gardening with my community. I now teach art and nature journaling classes for both adults and grade school students and am involved in many gardening-related volunteer activities such as speaking engagements, educational events, and helping to maintain local learning gardens.
